Gurdip Singh, Divisional Dean of the School of Computing

Welcome to the Long Nguyen and Kimmy Duong School of Computing 

Today, not only are computing devices pervasive in society, but computational methods are used in almost every field of endeavor ranging from the arts and humanities to the hard sciences and engineering. 

The Nguyen Duong School of Computing offers a diverse array of programs and courses in computing to students from all backgrounds and of all levels. We have world-class faculty with research strengths in almost all areas of computing, and a strong commitment to teaching. 

We are a school in one of the nation’s most diverse, R-1 designated institutions.  

Our campus, nestled in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., is in the center of one of the largest computer science and information technology corridors in the nation.
