Mariana Cruz, a civll engineering alumna discovered a unique gathering spot when a fellow engineer asked her to tag along on a building inspection. "It was last May and my friend said she had to go and do a building inspection and did I want to go along." What the two alumns found was the Caboose Brewery in Vienna, Va. and that led to finding a new venue for a school-sponsored Happy Hour.
On the evening of October 22 nearly 50 alumni from different departments and graduation years gathered together for an evening of food, drinks, and lively conversation.
