The Volgeneau School of Engineering's graduate programs in Systems Engineering and Operations Research (SEOR) are ranked 27 by U.S. News & World Report for 2018 in the category of Industrial/Manufacturing/Systems Engineering. Last year they were ranked 32.
The programs are now ranked higher than many local competitors.
Many SEOR master’s students are working professionals who enter the program to improve and gain new skills. Some want to start their own companies. Because the PhD program has a global reputation for excellence, it attractz many students from other nations. With the increasing influence of globalization, being a part of our community of international scholars provides our students the ability to network and work with researchers across many disciplines across the world.
