George Mason University Professor Aditya Johri has received a Fulbright-Nokia Distinguished Chair in Information and Communication Technologies award to conduct research in Finland during the 2021-22 academic year. Johri is a professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology in Mason's College of Engineering and Computing.
Research Interests: Data science, causal inference, survey methods, longitudinal data, official statistics, open data, citizen science/crowdsourcing/participatory government, urban analytics, public policy.
Research Interests: Non/semi-parametric regression, methodologies for functional data, spatiotemporal data, survey sampling, high dimensional data analysis.
Research Interests: Human-robot interactions, human-robot co-learning, bio-inspired robotics, distributed resource allocation

The ADVANCE partnership between Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) and George Mason University (Mason) gives NOVA students targeted, personalized support to complete their bachelor's degrees in a timely manner and save money. In addition to cost savings, the benefits of the program include an aligned curriculum, access to facilities and events, no additional application, co-enrollment, and more.
